SAFETY ASSESSMENTUnderstanding the corporate safety culture and vision. Providing an assessment of all components in scope, providing findings and recommendations though an agreed upon report format. Assessment will be done through agreed upon approaches including but not limited to site visits, interviews, review of standards, review of practices, review of procedures, and comparison to API and other industry standards. Key areas of review include: Management commitment, employee participation and understanding of procedures, clarity of documentation and practices, clarity in Roles, Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Authorities, Incident Investigation, Management of Change, tracking of action items, communication of root causes and lessons learned, Contractor Programs and program management, engineering controls, emergency preparedness and health programs. STANDARDS DEVELOPMENTPlanning and scoping to review existing supporting documentation. Conduct detailed review and interviews to draft standard. Format to be agreed during the planning phase. |
TECHNICAL PACKAGE REVIEWProviding technical review of engineered packages including; design basis documents, project plans, engineered drawings and decision support packages. TECHNICAL WRITINGPlanning and scoping meetings to include review of existing data or documentation. Conducting detailed review, interviews and any required research to draft the technical document required. Document format to be agreed during the planning and scoping meetings. Examples: Detailed Project Execution plans when not serving in PM or CM role, Measurement Manual, Safety Manual, One Pager to Communicate Program or Process, and Process Tools such as Checklists.
